Glitch Hero has Zelda vibes but with coding puzzles added in. Itās a bizarre one as youāll spent some time in dungeons killing ābugsā and other times youāll be trying to input the right code programming sequence in order to progress.
Youāll get new and upgraded abilities as you progress, while both types of gameplay will get more complex. The coding itself is a nice educational tool for younger gamers to learn some basic programming, but itās not for everyone.
The visual style also has nods to the Hero of Time, so its not just a coincidence. The soundtrack has a nice retro vibe to it, while the framerate is solid and I didnāt encounter any glitches other than the ones Iām actually killing.
The Verdict
Glitch Hero combines Zelda-style dungeons and combat with programming puzzles. Itās a weird combo, but it does work quite well and will definitely help those who want to get into coding.
